From the water to the hunt
Before it was software, it was a spreadsheet — kept by a fly-and-float guide who ran trips across Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho for six seasons. That's enough time chasing deposits and juggling the book to know exactly what an outfit actually needs. Lifelong hunters then shaped that same engine around the season: tags and licenses, guide assignments, camp, and payments, built for the way a hunt actually runs. It's the system we wish we'd had in the field.
The company
Hunt Outfitter is built by OnX BizTech, a Colorado software company. Its sister product, Fishing Outfitter, shares the same engine — the one a guide built on the water.
