Recording field notes

Field notes are a per-hunt timeline where you log what happened each day. Pick a hunt, then add a note with a date, title, and details.
What you can capture
- Weather — the day's dominant condition and the temperature, plus free-form notes.
- Wildlife sightings by species, with counts.
- Whether the day produced a harvest.
- Client performance — shooting, stamina, attitude.
- Safety flags or incidents (highlighted so they stand out).
The structured details — condition, temperature, sightings, outcome — power your outfit's Field report insights, so log them consistently even on quiet days. A no-harvest day with its conditions recorded is exactly what makes the trends honest.
On this page you see your own notes for each hunt. Mark a note private to keep it off the outfitter's booking page; owners and admins can still see private notes in their Field Notes list, and note details are included in org-wide Field report insights. Clients never see field notes. Safety notes are always emphasized.
