Calendar subscription: your bookings in Google, Apple or Outlook
A private, read-only calendar URL that shows your Hunt Outfitter bookings and events inside the calendar app you already use.
The calendar subscription is a read-only iCal feed of your Hunt Outfitter calendar. Paste its URL into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook once and your bookings appear alongside everything else on your phone or desktop, kept current by your calendar app. Nothing flows the other way: editing an event in your calendar app does not change the booking, and the URL never accepts writes.
What it shows
The feed is per person and follows your role. Owners, admins and sales members see every active booking in the outfitter — client name, hunt type and status — plus your shows and expos. A guide's feed carries only the hunts they are on: bookings they are the guide for, and any booking where they hold an assigned day. Bookings that are cancelled, on hold or no-shows are left out, and the feed covers the last 30 days plus the year ahead.
Where to find it
- Owners, admins and sales: Calendar → Subscribe, next to the month navigation.
- Guides: My Calendar → Subscribe on the guide app.
Subscribing
- Open Subscribe and choose Generate subscription URL, then Copy.
- Google Calendar: Other calendars (+) → From URL → paste → Add calendar.
- Apple Calendar: File → New Calendar Subscription → paste → Subscribe.
- Outlook: Add calendar → Subscribe from web → paste.
Calendar apps refresh subscribed calendars on their own schedule — Google in particular can take several hours to show a change. The Subscribe dialog shows when your feed was last fetched.
Rotate or revoke
The URL is the key: anyone who has it can read your feed, so treat it like a password. If it is ever shared by mistake, Rotate URL invalidates the old link immediately and issues a new one to re-subscribe with. Revoke turns the feed off entirely; calendar apps still subscribed simply stop updating.
