Season Readiness
A dashboard card that checks the season you're heading into and flags the gaps — overbooked weeks, missing deposits, unassigned guides — before your clients feel them.
Season Readiness is a card at the top of your dashboard, visible to owners and admins. It looks at the season you're actively heading into and surfaces anything that would cause a problem later — so you fix it on your schedule, not during opening week.
What it checks
- Hunt weeks booked past their capacity — flagged as blockers, sorted first.
- Bookings that haven't been assigned to a hunt week, and seasons with bookings but no hunt weeks defined.
- Bookings whose dates don't match their assigned week.
- Deposits still not recorded as the hunt gets close.
- Clients who were invited to the portal but never logged in.
- Booked clients with missing or placeholder contact information.
- Hunts a few weeks out with no guide assigned.
- Documents that were never sent to a client who's already in the portal.
- Current clients with no bookings, as a low-priority reminder.
Which season it looks at
For each hunt type, the card focuses on the pending season — the one with the earliest end date that hasn't passed. Next year's seasons wait their turn, so the list stays short enough to actually act on. A season that just ended still gets its wrap-up findings for 30 days.
Dismissing findings
Every finding links to the booking, client, or season it's about. If something is intentional — say a hunt that genuinely runs without an assigned guide — dismiss it and it stays gone. If the underlying data changes, such as another hunter joining an already-full week, the finding comes back on its own.
