What’s New in Hunt Outfitter: Fall 2026

Most of what we’ve built this fall came from outfitters asking for it in the middle of their season. The bigger pieces got posts of their own, including end-of-hunt reports, guide availability, add-ons and cancellation protection and guardian signing for minors. This is everything else worth knowing about, with a link to the help article for each.

Getting your season set up

Import from a spreadsheet, bookings included. You can bring in clients, leads and guides from a spreadsheet, and on Solo and up you can also import full bookings with the payments you’ve already taken recorded against them, so a mid-season switch doesn’t mean re-keying anyone. Importing your data →

Copy last year’s seasons forward. Seasons can be duplicated into a new year with their hunt windows intact, and the seasons list now filters by year, so setting up 2027 starts from what you ran in 2026 rather than a blank page.

Different tax rates for different areas. If your hunts cross tax jurisdictions, a hunt area can carry its own rate, which overrides your default for every hunt type linked to it. Setting up a hunt area →

Rooms and cabins. On Solo and up, you can assign hunters to lodge rooms, cabins and houses, and see who’s sleeping where night by night. Lodging: rooms and cabins →

Leads and sales

A seat for whoever works your leads. The Sales role (Business) gives someone working inquiries and bookings their own login, without your password and without your dollar figures, and inquiries land in a shared Inbox. The Sales role and shared Inbox →

Answer every website inquiry immediately. On Business, new leads from your website form can get an automatic reply drawn from your own FAQ. It’s off until you turn it on. Automatic replies to new leads →

Send an opening to the right leads. Broadcasts (Business) can now target leads by the source or list they came in from, which is how a cancellation hunt reaches the people who asked about that hunt. Filling cancellation hunts →

Your clients in your phone’s contacts. On Business, Google Contacts sync keeps your clients and leads in your own Google address book, so a hunter’s name shows up when they call, with no re-exporting. On Solo and Pro, you can export them to your phone instead. Google Contacts sync → · Getting clients into your phone →

Clients

A trip sheet and a trip packet. Every plan can print a one-page trip summary, and email a full trip packet to the hunters who never open the portal. Trip sheets and trip packets →

Change requests from the portal. Hunters can ask to cancel, move their dates or add a non-hunting companion from their booking, and nothing changes until you act on it. How change requests work →

Full weeks warn instead of refusing. Booking onto a hunt week that’s already full now asks whether you want to book anyway, rather than stopping you when you know you’ve got room.

Guides in the field

A reference library that works without signal. Post the files every guide should carry (land-use permits, insurance certificates, area maps, emergency procedures), and they’re on each guide’s phone, available offline. Files from your outfitter →

Install it on an iPhone. The prompt to add Hunt Outfitter to the home screen now appears on iPhones and iPads too. Using Hunt Outfitter offline →
